Download a Sketchfab Model from URL or Link

The downloader accepts public model URLs, direct model links, embed links, collection links, creator profile model pages, and raw model IDs. In practice, that means you can usually start from the exact page or share link you already have instead of manually extracting IDs.

Copy the full model URL from Sketchfab, paste it into the search box, and run the parser. 3D Ripper Online extracts the model identifier from the URL and loads the preview automatically. This is the fastest option for single-model downloads.

If you paste a collection URL or a creator profile models page, the tool switches to batch mode. You can then review the model list and choose which items to export instead of opening each model one by one.

Some pages reference Sketchfab using an embed URL instead of the main model page. The downloader can still parse supported embed-style links and extract the underlying model ID when the required public data is available.

Review the preview data, choose your output format, and decide whether you want extras such as ZIP packaging, thumbnails, or background images. Format choice depends on your destination: GLB for simple sharing, glTF for editable assets, OBJ for static compatibility, and FBX for broader DCC and engine pipelines.

Prefer the canonical public model page when possible, keep the original link in your project notes for traceability, verify the license before reuse, and remember that not every public-facing page exposes the same downloadable data.
